Herdsires
Belbourie Mantra is our 2009 Australian import stud male. He is a multiple award-winning male and high seller at the Coolawarra Easter Classic in Australia. His bloodlines include some impressive herdsires including Belbourie Montrose (Champion Sire), Purrumbete Minderoo, and Purrumbete Highlander!
His dam's sire Adelyn Highland Mist has a show success that speaks for itself: 10 Supreme Champions (including back to back Royals) and 12 Champion Fleece awards (including back to back Royals and three years in a row at Victorian Eastern Region Annual Fleece Competition). Also Supreme and Champion Fleece at several shows concurrently.
Mantra’s first cria Mantra's Giselle was born in the fall of 2009, and what a knockout! He has been bred to selected females for crias in 2010 and we can't wait to see them!

PPeruvian Sir Alex
Half
Peruvian (Accoyo) and half Bolivian, Sir Alex is half–brother to
DLA Peruvian Velerio
(full Accoyo sire to
High Khan of High Plains and multiple champion producer!) he is now standing
at stud in the United States. This is a highly sought–after bloodline! Sir Alex
has produced crias with extraordinary fleece characteristics, ranging in colours
from white to rich medium brown. Alex’s first daughter Hummzinger’s Battenberg
Lace is expecting her first cria in 2008 and we can’t wait to see his line continue.
His first daughter born in 2007, Hummzinger’s Modayo7,
is our absolute favourite cria; she has an exquisite fleece and a calm easy–going
disposition, and she was born on mother’s day! Sir Alex’s crias are always easy
to pick out of a crowd as they seem to inherit their father’s distinctive “nose
wrinkles.”

Agassiz’s Conte
Full
Peruvian Conte is a DLA Peruvian Thunderbolt (P3 White Lightning &
Puka Pollera) and Peruvian
Frosty (Allianza import) son. Conte has incredibly dense, white fleece with
a high frequency crimp, very full top knot and excellent coverage. He has a
compact frame, and a shorter head. Conte began his breeding career in 2007,
and we have females confirmed pregnant by ultrasound. Can’t wait to see what
he produces!
Conte placed second out of fourteen at the Canadian National Alpaca Futurity in 2005.

PPeruvian Gentleman Jim
Jim
is a white/light fawn Accoyo stud. He’s given us crias of almost every colour:
white, beige, fawn, brown … and even grey (we’re pretty sure he will give us
black, too)! We have been experimenting with Jim, putting him with females of
different colours and qualities, to see what he can do. We have found dramatic
improvements on older, unimproved (Chilean) females, producing babies with high
frequency crimp and density, full top knots, good leg coverage and “chubby cheeks”
all with incredible shine and beautiful colour!
Jimmy placed first in his class at the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair 2001.

Junior Herdsires
Wild Wind Turbo
We
look forward to using Wild Wind Turbo in our breeding program. This black champion
male has a strong background of black and grey genetics. Turbo has a solid frame
and heavy bone like his sire Tell Newton. Newton’s dam Tell Victoria’s Secret
is also the mother of Tell Vivace—another excellent producer of high quality
black alpacas. Newton’s sire The Phantom is also a grand champion true–black
male. Turbo will be bred to selected females in 2008.
